Bempton Parish Council had two audits carried out by independent companies within the financial year of 2016/2017.

The Internal Auditor audits the parishes minutes/policies and accounts, this is followed by an External Audit of the accounts. The Annual Return is listed below signed by the Internal Auditor and External Auditor, including the Governance Statement , the separate Internal Audit report is also listed.

Parish Council Assets

Bempton Playing Field, High Street Bempton. Current use is the village playing field/childrens play equipment/football pitch/carpark and village hall. Owners from 1996, 0.701 hectares.

Sands Lane, Newsham Hill Lane, Bempton. Current use is for access to the various properties, fields and railway line.

Bempton Parish Council are custodians of  Bempton Green, Buckton Pond, Bempton War Memorial, two thirds of the land opposite Bempton Green.
